This project included a new two-story education building addition, combined with a remodel of the church offices, and restrooms.  The main architectural feature of the addition, a two-story narthex connected the existing sanctuary building to the new education building while providing space for circulation and fellowship. 

After the initial design and budgeting, changes in the ministerial staff caused the congregation to put the project on hold for over a year.  Once the staff issues were resolved, design and budgeting resumed.  With the long delay came different building committee members and issues with continuity.  IDEA’s thorough documentation provided the background that new committee members needed and facilitated a smooth resumption of the pre-construction process.
